Luxemburg auf der Fachmesse "Worldhosting Days" in Rust
Back from the ICT fair "Worldhosting Days", which took place from March 22 to 25 in Rust (Europa Park), Germany, Luxembourg for Business - Proud to promote ICT and LU-CIX draw a positive balance of their collective presence at the world’s largest hosting event.
Following their call, not less than 8 other Luxembourgish actors joined the event as well, namely eBRC, Entreprise des Postes et Télécommunications, EuroDNS, GateSecure, LuxCloud, LuxConnect, SecureIT and Visual Online.
With all the Luxembourgish booths gathered at one big central spot, right in the centre of the exhibition hall, the country was anything but unnoticed. Numerous visitors and companies from around the globe showed a deep interest in Luxembourg’s IT infrastructures.
Moreover, a panel discussion of 45 minutes was dedicated to Luxembourg. It was held on the 24th of March 2011, in the main hall of the conference center, for an audience of 200 professionals. With four Luxembourgish speakers, representing LU-CIX, LuxCloud, eBRC and SecureIT and presented by Luxembourg for Business, the discussion focused on a variety of topics, such as international connectivity, datacenter offers, legal framework, or the quality of life in Luxembourg.
Luxembourg’s attendance at the "Worldhosting Days" can therefore be seen as successful in terms of business contacts and for the promotion of Luxembourg as a leading ICT country in Europe.
